PHILOPTOCHOS Bake Sale coming Thursday, November
20. Our hardworking ladies are
beginning preparations for the annual pastry. Anyone interested in helping with the bake sale, please call
Kay Leventis at 242-3623 for pastry and Pauline Giannopoulos at 885-0543 for
lunch. This is always a highlight
of the Philoptochos year and a wonderful opportunity for everyone to stock up
on the delicious sweets and pastries before the upcoming holiday season. Please inform you friends and neighbors

Diocese
Hellenic Dance Instructor Workshop – Friday – Sunday, October 31 –
November 2 - Anyone interested in
helping during the weekend with the cooking and serving food, please contact
Haido Pourlos. On Saturday,
Nov. 1, there will be a dinner dance open to the Community beginning at 7:30pm.
Menu: Baked chicken, potatoes,
fasolakia, salad, roll and dessert. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students. On Sunday, Nov. 2 a luncheon will be served, the entire
Community is invited. Menu:
Soutzoukakia with rice, salad, roll, dessert and drink. Tickets are $7 for everyone. For further information, please contact

interested in participating in the workshop, is welcome.
Friday night
there will be a workshop on Macedonian dances from 8:00pm -10:00pm. On Saturday morning starting at 9:00am
until 12:00 noon we will have workshops on Thrace and Ionian Islands
dances. We welcome anyone
interested in learning the dances to come and participate in the
workshops. The cost of the
workshop is $20.
Lunch will
also be served on Saturday around
12:00 noon .
POINSETTIA ORDERS FOR CHURCH
Our Dance Troupe
Adelphia will be taking orders for poinsettias. The poinsettias are 8 inch pots with 15 blooms per pot. They are selling at $15.00 per
pot. You can buy a poinsettia
plant and place it in the church in memory of a loved one or just in honor of a
family member. The poinsettias
will stay in church until Christmas and then they can be taken home.
You can also order
poinsettias for your home. The
poinsettias will be delivered on December 2nd here at the church. There will be a table during coffee
hour on Sundays so you can place your orders or you can call Haido Pourlos at
246-7104.
GOYA NEWS
The Goyans
want to thank the community for supporting them in their annual Halloween
Carnival. Thanks to all who came
to join in the fun. It was a huge
success ! ! !
Deadline for
Winter Youth Rally
Forms, signed by
Parents and GOYA member, registration fee of $150, paid by cash or check with
checks payable to GOYA, with a photo copy of insurance card is due no later
than Sunday, November 2. We will be collecting forms and have
additional forms available in the library immediately after church. You must be 13 years of age, paid GOYA
member and meet the 50% attendance criteria of Sunday School to be eligible to
attend the rally.
