Foundations of Orthodox Faith:

What Orthodox Christians Believe

 

A twelve week series on the traditional teaching of the Early Church. This course will discuss Creation, Original Sin, Salvation and Theosis, Tradition and history of the Bible, Mother of God the Theotokos, Icons, Saints, and the Church as the healing Body of Christ through the Sacraments, Christian way of life, Prayer and Fasting. Join us to explore the foundations of the Christian Faith as taught by the Apostles and the Early Church Fathers. Call 233-8531 to enroll in this free class at the Saint George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in downtown Greenville (406 N academy). Class meets on Tuesday evenings from 6:00pm to 7:30pm beginning ealry September in the lower level of the Cathedral.
